We are a professionally staffed, full service facility, ready to serve you. We offer the most variety of fitness options included in membership:

Facility Use Guidelines

Youth
Adult Time is Monday-Friday from 11:30am-1:30pm. Youth may be in the facility during that time if they are participating in a YMCA program or using the Kid’s Club.

YMCA Youth Members
Ages 0-11 can use the facility any time other than Adult Time but must have an adult with them in order to use the facility.
Ages 12+ can use the facility independently, any time other than Adult Time.

Youth Day Pass Users/Non-Members
Children ages 0-11 who purchase a day pass can be in the facility under adult supervision (ages 18yrs or older), any time other than Adult Time. Children ages 11 and under need to have an adult present to purchase a day pass and that adult must stay with them in the facility.
Youth ages 12-14 may purchase a day pass during Open Swim Hours only, no exceptions.
Youth ages 15-17 may purchase a day pass anytime other than Adult Time.

Wellness Center
• Adults: The center is open to all adult YMCA members along with day pass users and guests who are 18 years and older.
• Youth:
The center is available to 12-17 year old members after meeting certain requirements:
1. Youth members ages 12-15 must go through a complete orientation and have a Physician’s
Clearance Form on file. Youth ages 12-14 must have adult supervision.
2. Youth members ages 16-17 must go through a complete orientation before using the center.
3. Youth day pass users are not able to use the wellness center.

Aquatics
• Swimmers age five years or younger must have adult supervision while using the pool.
• Swimmers over six years of age, may use the pool independently.
• Swimmers must wear swimsuits. Street clothing is not allowed.
• Swimmers under the age of six may not use the whirlpool.

Locker Rooms
1. All children 5 years and older must change in respective locker room facility by gender OR parents may bring their children (age 7 and under) into the adaptive locker rooms.
2. The adaptive locker rooms are available for people who have special needs and adults with kids of the opposite gender (age 7 and under).
3. The Plus Locker Rooms are for adults only. The only exception is family times, which include Wednesday and Friday Evenings, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Parking

10 minute Drop Off Zone:
Easy drop-off and pick-up is available right in front of the YMCA.

Ramps:
We provide two hours of FREE parking in three different ramps close to the YMCA.
•Holiday Inn Ramp-Located in the 200 block of W 1st Street (1/2 block from YMCA)
•Shoppers Auto Park Ramp-Located at 18 N 2nd Ave West (1 block from YMCA)
•4th Ave Auto Park-Located at 402 W Michigan Street (3 blocks from YMCA)

Meters:
The YMCA is surrounded by Parking Meters which are FREE before 8:30am and after 5:30pm Monday-Friday. Meters are also FREE all day Saturday and Sunday.

Free Street Parking:
If you are willing to walk 2-3 blocks, free street parking is available on 3rd & 4th Street.

Handicap Parking:
We have two spots right in front of the YMCA. You may also park at any of the meters close to the YMCA.

Ride the Bus: The YMCA is conveniently located 1 block up from the Downtown Transit Center. For DTA route information, please call 722-SAVE or visit www.duluthtransit.com
