Groups or Individuals Looking for One-Time Volunteer Opportunities

At the Y, we are pleased to offer one-time opportunities for individuals or groups to do volunteer work together.  Whether you are an individual or a group of co-workers, friends or service club, we have something for you!  Please review the below list and let us know how you can help.

Parent’s Time Out

PTO is a program where parents can drop their kids off at the Y and provide an evening of activities, dinner, games, swimming and movies while the parents get the night to themselves.  PTO is open to kids ages 4 months -12 years.  Volunteers are needed from 4:30-9:30pm to help with set-up, take-down, activities and interaction with the kids.  Dinner included!

Camp Miller

Oaks Lodge Remodeling Project-We’re remodeling and looking for a group with carpentry or trade skills to help.  We have "gutted" the existing building and are now framing, plumbing, wiring, dry walling, flooring and finish carpentry.

Trail and Campsite Maintenance Work Project-This spring project involves clearing brush, cutting branches, pruning, erosion control, trail improvements and trail construction.  A great way to see the Camp Miller wilderness!
