Position Summary:
To assist members, program participants and guests at the Member Service Desk.  Individual is responsible for providing a high level of customer service.

Essential Functions:
1. Provides members with exceptional customer service and promotes YMCA membership and programs.
2. Greets all members and guests in an enthusiastic manner.
3. Checks and scans all membership cards.
4. Provides informative tours to prospective members in accordance with Association tour requirements.
5. Makes follow-up phone calls with prospective members and new members per Membership Development Plan.
6. Some laundry duties including folding and delivering towels and emptying laundry bins.

Qualifications:
-knowledge of standard business software preferred
-friendly, enjoy working with people, responsible, strong work ethic
-able to work on your own (self motivated)
-detail-oriented
-excellent at multi tasking while remaining calm
-clear communication skills
-maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance
-able to quickly develop new skills and adapt to changes
-able to work a minimum of 2 hours per week
