Nautilus Equipment

The center is open to ALL members, day pass participants and guests, 18 years and older. The facility is also available to 12-17 year-old members after meeting certain requirements. All new members must make an appointment to meet with a fitness trainer before utilizing the Wellness Center. Different orientations are available for all levels, please call 722-4745, ext. 133 for more details.

Youth Orientations-The Wellness Center offers Youth Orientations. This orientation is mandatory for all youth members age 12-17 wanting to utilize the facility.  Youth 12-14 must have a physicians clearance form on file before signing up for a Youth Orientation. 

Teen Fit- (ages 12-15) Starting the week of June 9 through August 31. Teen fit is held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:00 to 8:30pm. This program is designed to meet the general recommendations of a safe and effective youth program. Focus is on cardio, strength training and flexibility.

The Right Start Orientation- Free to members! Start your YMCA exercise experience off right! This personalized orientation is for the new or returning exerciser.  Participants receive an in-depth orientation including: 
1. Fitness Consultation & Evaluation
2. Cardiovascular & Weight Training Orientation

Fitness 4 Life- A 10 week program that works on balancing four key components of wellness in order to achieve health and well-being. Includes 2 Personal Training sessions per week, nutritional counseling and weekly activity projects to promote accountability.  This program gives you not only the fitness aspect but also the nutritional and behavioral strategy components that are necessary to positively impact your life, 4 life! Cost: Members-$600 / Non-Members-$750

Fitness Evaluations- Include body composition, cardiovascular capacity, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility.
Free initial evaluation for members.
Cost: $15 for Members / $30 for non-members.

Blood Pressure- Blood pressure checks are offered Free to members. Call 722-4745 ext. 133 to schedule an appointment.

Cost: Free to Members $5.00 for non-members.

Personal Trainers- Our personal training program is here to assist you whether you are on the road to beginning a healthy lifestyle, planning to run your first or hundred and first marathon, or just need some guidance in your routine through your daily life.  Appointments with our Personal Trainers contact the Wellness Center at 722.4745 ext. 148.
Cost: Members- $40.00 per 1 hour session or $175 for 5 sessions

Group Exercise Classes...Included in Membership!

Group Cycling Class.Classes are ongoing and Free to Members... Just Join In!. Current schedules are available at the Member Service Desk or you may click here to access the schedule online. You may participate in the following programs:

Group Exercise-Step Aerobics(Muscle Pump, Bosu Challenge, Cardio Boot Camp, Step Combo, Core Challenge, Total Condition, Group Cycling and Water Aerobics) For those people who like the discipline of an organized class and the expert guidance of a trained and experienced instructor. Each class promotes flexibility, muscle tone and cardio respiratory endurance and lasts approximately one hour. A variety of classes are held throughout the day. 

Joint Mobility Group

We offer a warm pool and a leader for a gentle routine of joint movement designed to improve mobility. Come be a part of our friendly and supportive atmosphere.  You must register for a one month session. Register at the Member Service Desk.                                    
Cost:  Members $18/month, Participants $29/month. 

Massage Therapy for Females

Pat Luoma, certified massage therapist, provides integrated massage which combines Esalan, Swedish, Shiatsu, sports massage and deep tissue. This combination can be tailored to meet individual needs. Pat also specializes in maternity massage. To schedule an appointment, call Pat at 348-6888.          
Cost: $52 for one hour; $67 for an hour and a half.
