Payment Options:
1. *Monthly Automatic Withdrawl-Electronic deduction of your monthly dues from your checking account, savings account or credit card on an ongoing monthly basis. Please bring the following:
- Joiner Fee & First months payment in advance (pro-rated from that day)
- Voided check or deposit slip from the account to be drafted.
*Notification of termination must be made on or before the 15th of the month prior to the month in which termination or change in membership is desired. Please notify the YMCA if there is a change in banks or close of your account. Membership is nontransferable or refundable.

UCare of Minnesota
YMCA Members in eligible insurance plans with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, UCare of Minnesota, Medica and HealthPartners® can receive a $20 per month credit on their membership fee by working out a set number of days each month.
Check with your insurance provider or company benefits department if you have any questions on your eligibility or participation requirements on any of these programs.
Daily Passes
Day passes are available, however,
the YMCA always encourages community users to become Y members. Photo
I.D.'s are required for entry by adults. Day users can significantly
increase the benefits they receive from our programs and services by joining
the Y under any of our membership plans. Three day pass receipts
purchased within the month before you join can be put toward your membership
payment. Please save your receipts!
Day Passes Cost: $10 Adult, $5 Youth,
$20 Family
Non-members may purchase up to 10 day passes per year.
YMCA AWAY Program- If you are a member of another YMCA you are welcome to use the Duluth Area Family YMCA up to 12 times per year. If you would like to use the Duluth YMCA more than 12 times per year, and your membership is current at your home YMCA, you may purchase an unlimited use pass for $200.00 per year. Punch cards are available at the member service desk. Valid membership cards are required.
Financial Assistance
The Duluth Area Family YMCA makes every effort to ensure that membership, programs and services are available to all community members, especially youth, regardless of their financial situation. Financial assistance is supported by contributions from Y Partners and grants from local and regional funders that provide scholarships and subsidies for qualifying applicants within our available resources.
