Youth Lacrosse
Youth Lacrosse Clinic
This is both a great introductory opportunity for new players and a refresher for returning players.Instruction on skills fundamental to the game, such as catching, throwing, ground balls, and shooting will be covered. Instructed by the UMD Lacrosse Team, the lacrosse clinic is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 16.
When: Typically held in April at UMD
Cost is $35 for both YMCA members and the community.

Youth Lacrosse League
The YMCA and UMD Lacrosse team partner each summer to put on a Youth Lacrosse League. The league is for youth in grades 3-8. Players will be split into groups based on age.
Date: June 8-July 29
Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:00-6:30pm
Location: Park Point
Details: Players will be split into groups based on age. Catching, throwing, ground balls and shooting will be covered. Participants will also learn the basics of individual and team offense and defense. Games will be played as the season progresses.
Cost: $100 for Y Members / $150 for the Community
Equipment Needed: Full lacrosse equipment (mouth guard, helmet, gloves, shoulder and arm pads)
