Group Exercise
The Duluth Y prides itself in offering you diverse, effective, and fun class programming. We take great care in ensuring that we offer classes that appeal to your mind, body, and spirit. Whether you’re a senior, teen, serious athlete, or new to group exercise--we promise to have something that inspires your motivation to move!
Personal Training
At the Duluth Y, you are a part of a welcoming & nurturing environment where our nationally certified Personal Trainers will coach, motivate, and inspire you to achieve the results you have always wanted. We offer both one-on-one personal training packages as well as packages where you partner up with a buddy for additional motivation and camaraderie. Whatever your goals are, we are here for you to help you grow in spirit, mind and body.
Wellness Center
Our Wellness Center accommodates all levels and fitness abilities. Use of the wellness center is free to all Y members; ages 12 and older. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes free-weights, cardio, and a line up of 21 Nitro Nautilus pieces.
National Diabetes Prevention Program
In the Diabetes Prevention Program, a trained lifestyle coach will introduce topics in a supportive, small group environment and encourage participants as they explore how healthy eating, physical activity and behavior changes can benefit their health. These classes are currently FREE
Specialty Programs
Join us for our specialty programs including fitness challenges, Marathon training groups, 5K training groups, kettlebells, TRX and PiYo. Pre-registration is required, and you can sign up through our website or at the front desk.
Wellness Equipment
We provide a variety of equipment to meet your fitness goals and workout preferences, including steppers, treadmills, elliptical, cross-trainers, rowers, a full selection of Nautilus and cable crossover stations, and free weight benches, racks, and presses.
Active Older Adults
The Y has fitness classes specifically designed for older adults. They give participants an opportunity to stay physically active or in some cases, to overcome their fear of exercise and begin being physically active.
