Our Wellness Center accommodates all levels and fitness abilities and is free to Y members ages 12 and older. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes free-weight, cardio, and a line up of 21 Nitro Nautilus pieces.
National Diabetes Prevention Program
National Diabetes Prevention Program In the Diabetes Prevention Program, a trained lifestyle coach will introduce topics in a supportive, small group environment and encourage participants as they explore how healthy eating, physical activity and behavior changes can benefit their health. These classes are currently FREE with support from Essentia Health, Healthy Northland, and the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We provide a variety of equipment to meet your fitness goals and workout preferences, including steppers, treadmills, elliptical, cross-trainers, rowers, a full selection of Nautilus and cable crossover stations, and free weight benches, racks, and presses.
Active Older Adults
The Y has fitness classes specifically designed for older adults. They give participants an opportunity to stay physically active or in some cases, to overcome their fear of exercise and begin being physically active.
