For our young people, having the right guidance and support can make a real difference in figuring out who they are and what they can achieve. Whether our youth come to the Y looking to explore their interests, or for support in navigating challenges, the Y is committed to nurturing teens and providing the roots for their success.
So much of what we learn has to do with the opportunities we’re given. At the Y, we want young people to explore their possibilities and think big! And that’s what our programs are designed to do.
New Year's Eve Lock-In
Lock-ins are a fun and safe place for an overnight with friends. Staff will supervise activities such as Wii and Rockband tournaments, volleyball, dodgeball, floor hockey, walleyball, open swim, movies, snacks, board games, crafts, group games, and rock climbing
LEAD stands for Leadership, Experience, Adventure, Development. You make it happen at the YMCA. Learn leadership skills and volunteer to help provide needed activities for yourself and other local teens.
Youth in Government
Youth in Government builds a sense of responsibility and passion for issues, the desire to make a difference, citizenship skills, and values in the lives of teens. Ultimately, Youth in Government programs help mold character in students with a strong focus on leadership development and citizenship-building.
