Camp Miller helps solidify a love of outdoor adventure in our campers, and many seek greater challenges in the outdoors through our Adventure Treks. Teenagers ages 13–17 experience a variety of outdoor adventure activities like backpacking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, and more in Minnesota wilderness. Adventure Treks use the philosophy of building a close-knit, kind, and inclusive community of friends and role models; improving self-confidence and independence; and building resilience and leadership skills. Join us for this year’s trips! Trips change every year so campers can return every summer for a new adventure.

This canoe adventure is perfect for excited, first-time campers as well as seasoned canoeists. Each group of between four to seven campers is under the leadership of two trail counselors. Campers on this trip will set up a base campsite, and then take daily canoe adventures around the Boundary Waters area. Campers will learn Leave No Trace skills, take turns leading the group throughout the day, and gaining experience with meal prep and planning. This group will leave from Camp Miller on Tuesday morning and return on Friday afternoon. Camp Miller will provide all camping gear needed for our trippers.
