The Cook County YMCA is one branch of the Duluth Area Family YMCA Association. For more than 100 years, The Duluth Area Family YMCA has created opportunities for all members of our community to learn, grow, and thrive. The Y’s impact on our community is evident in the numbers that we share with you here, but it is the individuals and the stories behind each number that truly make us proud. Behind each of these metrics is a child who learned to swim, a person who found strength and confidence through movement, a teen who enjoyed a healthy meal, and so many who found a home and a community at the YMCA – a place that is truly for all.
The Association also has many reasons to celebrate the programs that serve the community in the Duluth Area, Grand Marais, and Sturgeon Lake. Here is a brief look at the ways in which our impact has been felt in the last year.
