Teen THRIVE is a dynamic program designed to empower youth aged 10-17 with essential life skills and experiences to succeed. The acronym "THRIVE" encapsulates the program's core values: Teamwork, Hope, Resilience, Innovation, Values, and Empowerment.
Hosted at the Downtown Y, Teen THRIVE offers a range of structured activities tailored for middle and high school students, running every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday between 3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Participants will engage in a diverse array of activities. Past activities have included: book clubs, rock climbing, tie-dye sessions, weightlifting, yoga, cooking classes, and more. Additionally, access to the Y's facilities for youth ages 12-17 such as the pool, courts, track, gymnasium, and wellness center* is provided during unstructured program time.
Prior registration with a signed waiver is required for all participants.
Teen THRIVE aims to foster personal growth, teamwork, and a sense of purpose among young individuals, ensuring they are equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.

COST
This is a free drop-in program, made possible thanks to the generous support of St. Louis County.
All participants must be registered, with a signed waiver, prior to attending their first day of program. Youth ages 16+ must present a photo ID their first day of programming (school ID is acceptable). Please note, as a drop-in program, participants are able to come and go from the Y at their leisure throughout program time.
*Ages 13+ who have gone through the Y teen orientation
